City offices are closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Presidents' Day. We will re-open Tuesday, February 17, at 8:30 am.

The Mayor and City Council have called a special called meeting for an Executive Session for Personnel. This meeting will take place at 3:30 pm on February 10 at the Baldwin Police Department Training Facility, which is located directly behind the Police Department at 155 Willingham Avenue, Baldwin, GA 30511.

Due to snow from this past weekend’s storm and the likelihood of ice on the roads, Baldwin City Offices will be closed on Monday, February 2 for the safety of our residents and staff. All in-person services will be unavailable during this time. Essential operations will continue where possible, including public safety and emergency response.

Please see the attached agendas for this coming Tuesday’s work session and regular council meeting (2/3/26). The work session will begin at 6:00 pm and the regular meeting will follow immediately after. The City will continue to monitor the incoming inclement weather as it develops. LIFTED 1/9/2026 at 11:06 AM. The City of Baldwin has discontinued the boil water advisory issued for water customers in the Highland Pointe Subdivision on January 7. Bacteriological samplings collected from several sites in the area tested negative for the presence of harmful bacteria.

UPDATE [1/8/26]: While water has been restored, the boil water advisory is still in effect until appropriate testing has been completed. When the advisory is lifted, a new post will be made on Facebook and the City of Baldwin website, and a notification will be sent out on Everbridge. Thank you for your patience regarding property tax bills. Physical bills are expected to be mailed out on January 6, placing the due date at close of business, Monday, March 9. If any further delays occur, the due date will be adjusted accordingly.

City offices are closed on January 1, 2026 in observance of New Year's Day. We will re-open Friday, January 2, at 8:30 am.
